Instructions to make Venn Pongal:
  1. Wash rice and mung bean well
  2. Pressure cook Rice, Split mung bean, Jeera, Pepper, salt, Water, Milk for 3 whistles (Listed under Pressure cooking)
  3. Once the pressure gets released, Mash the contents a little bit
  4. Heat a skillet. add ghee, curry leaves, jeera and peppercorn (the ones listed under seasoning). stir for less than a minute and pour on top of the contents in pressure cooker. Stir well
